Thank you to the Committee of The East Midland Bulldog Club for the invitation to judge their Open Show.  I had a lovely day and the hospitality was great.

MPD (5,1) - 1st. Beaumont, Bullmont Lord Stannis - r/w 8 month masculine male who stood out in this class, square front with good bone leading to tight feet. Correct head shape with clear dark eyes, large nose with good open nostrils, flat skull with well positioned correct ears.  Good upsweep of true jaw with correct dentition.  Enough rib for age, nice topline leading to a low set free tail, well angulated.  Moved well coming and going, pleased to award him Reserve Best Male and Best Puppy in Show.  2nd. Downs, Blenhiemstar Saint George - r, 6 month male, clear dark eyes, flat skull with fine wrinkle, good turn and width of underjaw, square front, straight bone, tight feet, good rear angulation, good reach of neck, low set free tail.  Reluctant to move today, but I'm sure with more show experience will come.

PD (4,2) - 1st. Hanley, Blenhiemstar The Last Drop - r, 6 month male, lovely turn of true underjaw, clear dark eyes, flat skull with well placed ears and enough wrinkle, large open nostrils, square front with tight feet, good depth of chest, nice topline and well angulated rear, moved ok.  2nd. Winfield & Morley, Mystic Power of Jason - r, clear dark eyes, open nostrils, nice topline, enough rib, well angulated rear, moved well, with age and experience will hopefully settle down as a little nervous today.

JD (2,1) - 1st. Robinson, Joyjans Seal of Gold - r, good turn and width of jaw.  Clear dark eyes, square front with good bone, nice topline with a good rib.

YD (3,1) - 1st. Livingstone, Jacobella Captain Flint - r/w masculine dog with clear dark eyes, great turn of true underjaw with good dentition, large open nostrils, flat skull with correctly placed rose ears. Square front with plenty of bone and a deep brisket, plenty of rib and a nice tuck up, lovely reach of neck flowing into the best topline of the day curving off over the loins to a low set free tail.  Well angulated rear. Moved well coming and going pleased to award Best male and BIS.  2nd. Allen, Ranfire All About Christian - a little longer in back than 1. Nice clear dark eyes, good nostrils, flat skull with well set ears, square front leading to tight feet, good rib, low set tail. Moved well. 

ND (2) - 1st. Winfield & Morley, Mystic Power of Jason.  2nd. Fisher, Waneta Flynn - r/w, clear dark eyes, flat skull, correct ear placement, good turn of true jaw, straight bone with tight feet, nice topline, enough rib, free tail, just a little nervous on the move today.

PGD (6,4) - 1st. Pannifer, Rospaw Betcha By Golly Wow - r/w, plenty of straight bone, with a nice square front, clear dark eyes, large open nostrils, correct ears, good width and turn of true jaw. Correct rear angulation, moved well.   2nd. Dean, Hawkbull Quinn Bullmarina - r, clear eyes, with a very good width and turn of jaw, flat skull, large nostrils, tail ok, moved well.

LD (2) - 1st. Fisher, Onahia Del Atlante He's The Only One At Waneta -  r/w square front, with good bone, tight feet, clear round eyes, flat skull with well placed low set ears, good turn and width of true jaw, good rib and a correct topline, good rear angulation, free tail, moved well, would of preferred a little more neck, was a hard decision between this male and the reserve male.  2nd. Pannifer, Rospaw Betcha By Golly Wow.

OD (3,2) - 1st. Livingstone, Ruakuri On The Road Again At Jacobella - w/r, dark round clear eyes, great turn of underjaw, flat skull with well placed rose ears, correct square front, straight bone leading to tight feet.  Nice topline, good rear angulation and plenty of rib. Moved well.

VD/B (4,2) - 1st. Ashton & Dodwell, Mystyle Eclipse Asharlo - 8 year old red bitch who still seemed full of energy, large dark round clear eyes, open nostils and a nice turn of jaw, square front with tight feet, plenty of neck and a nice topline leading to a free tail, well angulated rear, moved well. Pleased to award her BVIS.  2nd. Pannifer, Rospaw Soldier Boy - r 9 year definitely had a real sour expression, clear dark eyes, flat skull, good nostrils, square front with plenty of bone, moved well, specially for his age.

MPB (4,1) - 1st. Ross, Grandtree Queen Of Dragons - very feminine balanced 6 month red bitch who caught my eye as she entered the ring, dark clear eyes, flat skull with enough wrinkle, well placed rose ears, good turn of true jaw, open nostrils, straight bone leading to tight feet, nice brisket, plenty of rib, good topline with enough neck, free tail, moved well coming and going.  2nd. Hanley, Blenhiemstar Star Day - r/w clear dark eyes, open nostrils, good turn of true jaw, square front, straight bone, tight feet, excellent rib creating the pear shaped body when viewed from above, great topline with a nice tuck up, free tail, moved ok.

PB (2,2)

JB (3,1) - 1st. Parker, Albionpride Miss Furtado - brindle, feminine girl with a super head, clear dark round eyes, open nostrils, flat skull with enough wrinkle, well placed rose ears, rounded cheeks, good turn of underjaw, square front with straight bone, tight feet, great brisket, good rib, well angulated rear end with a free tail, moved well coming and going.  2nd. Rolinson, Joyjans Masquerade, r/w clear dark eyes, correctly placed rose ears, square front, would have just liked a bit more bone, nice topline leading to a free tail.

YB (2,1) - 1st. Livingstone, Jacobella Madam Me Me - w, round clear eyes, wide open nostrils, flat skull well placed rose ears, square front with enough bone, great rib and a nice topline leading to a well angulated rear end, moved well coming and going.

NB (3,2) - 1st. Rolinson, Joyjans Silver Jewel - she seemed a little unsettled today, clear dark eyes, wide open nostrils, great turn and width of underjaw, enough rib, pleasing topline, leading to a free tail, well angulated rear end. Moved Ok just unsettled. 

PGB (2,1) - 1st. Dean, Hawkbull Dottie Bullmarina - r/w wide open nostrils, clear eyes, good turn and width of true jaw. Flat skull with fine wrinkle, well placed rose ears, square front, enough rib, nice topline leading to a free tail, good rear angulation, moved ok.

LB (1,1)

OB (2) - 1st. Ashton & Dodwell, Asharlo Gypsy Rose - very feminine brindle girl with a fantastic head, flat skull with fine wrinkle, the clearest of dark eyes, open nostrils, good turn of underjaw, straight bone, tight feet and a good width and depth of chest, good rib helping create the pear shaped body when viewed from above, well angulated rear end. Free tail, moved well, Best Bitch, RBIS. 2nd. Cobb, Stanryk It's A Dream - feminine white bitch who made this class a very hard decision, as well as reserve best bitch. Great pigmentation, dark clear eyes, large open nostrils, good upsweep of jaw, with good width, fine wrinkle on a flat skull with well placed ears, square front with enough straight bone, tight feet, plenty of rib, moved well but just preferred rear movement on 1.
